 I love rocks. I love to climb them, talk to them, photograph them, study them under the microscope, learn from them, represent them in paintings, paint them, collect them, wet them and look at their colours, arrange them in designs, feel them, watch the sunset light them up, sit and meditate on them, invoke their magic, sleep on them, and swim around and through them underneath the sea. But most of all I just love them, with no reference to use or function. This is a book for fellow rock-lovers, this is a book for other people who share my passion for them. I know you don't need me to describe the rocks geologically; you don't need me to say where they are (indeed, I like to protect the privacy and sacredness of my friends!). So I simply offer you the pictures, and the fantasy is yours. |
