BRUCE THE PIXIE

How to describe Bruce the Pixie in one sentence? Singer, songwriter, radio broadcasting manager, actor, street performer and activist, with a magic bag of other tricks that change constantly! JAPETUS

MUSIC FOR MEDITATION AND GUIDED VISUALISATIONS
"Life is not a monotone. Life is full of colours and sounds and symbols of all different vibrations. Our duty is to develop a focused consciousness and navigate our way back from the lowest to the highest. From manifestation, bridging back across to the all encompassing nothingness. In today's society it is easy to recognise the need for healing in any form, and these musical soundspaces and visualisations, the visionary artworks, the video and workshops, all offer a way of discovering a more subtle and wholistic sense of self." DAEVA

Daeva won my heart by playing all my favourite Turlough O'Carolan tunes with deep feeling and technical perfection. He busks at the markets, and has a CD out, "Jack of Harps". Contact him by emailing: daevaskye@hotmail.com. Visit his website at www.byron-bay.com/daeva or click on the link at top of this page.

DIDGE SI

Didge Si must have a hot line to the Muse of Dance, because when he pumps out his cybertribal doof through the big tube, your body will take off with or without you. You can catch him playing live at the Byron Market or in Jonson Street in Byron Bay when things are hopping, and watch for gigs advertised in "The Echo". Visit his website at www.didgesi.com or click on the link at top of this page.

OSHO VEET WOOD

Drummer and drum-maker extraordinaire, and carver of items of supreme beauty, Veet works with love, humour and always a touch of the unusual. Here he is depicted with two works. The drum with anatomical overtones was inspired by the shape of the wood. He is being ably assisted by Bruce the Pixie ("wearing the pants") and Jaia, also a carver extraordinaire, to be featured independently soon. The waist-high urn is made from a single piece of camphor laurel. You can contact Veet to arrange to inspect his work or order a custom-made drum by emailing him at: oshoveetwood@linknet.com.au
